Un comentario desde la Universidad de Philadelphia...



Aquí te enviamos el interesante comentario de nuestro colaborador en Philadelphia, el profesor de "creative writings" and Philosophy, también poeta, Donald Riggs:


Lovely poem! It reminds me of Gertrude Stein's "a rose is a rose is a rose" and Shakespeare's "a rose by any other name would smell as sweet!" and Homer's "rhododaktylos Eos" or "rosy-fingered Dawn!" The rose is so intrincately filled with intensity, from the color of the petals, to the fragance, to the thorns... Goethe's "Roslein auf dem heide" (forgive the spelling!) or "little rose on the heather" brings out the thorns...
